This week we had 100 new APIs added to our API directory including a geographic mapping features service, online store and e-commerce product search service, mobile games discovery and marketing service, micro-Apps for Android and iOS and phone conversation management app. In addition we covered an API that helps users stay safe, how to simplify visual communication with Lucidchart, and the Avocado couples app. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.

This week we had 69 new APIs added to our API directory including a targeted online content distribution service, interview scheduling and conducting platform, mobile SMS messaging platform, social screenshot sharing and a photo sharing and social networking platform. Fundraise.comThey say the 3rd time’s the charm – and it looks like that’s just about right for the Philadelphia StartupWeekend. While some weekends end with a bunch of mock-ups, slide decks and just a handful of working demos, that wasn’t the case for Philly this time around. Demos and deployed sites were the rule, with almost 20 different pitches making it to Sunday afternoon.

15 APIs Used in 7 Days: Instagram, Sonos and Spotify

This past week 12 new mashups were added to our mashup directory and 15 different APIs were used to build them. Some of the newer or less frequently seen APIs include Aviary Suite, Instagram Real-time, Seatwave, Sonos Music, Stack Overflow, TripIt and vzaar. The most often used APIs this week are Facebook, Seatwave and SoundCloud. And the most commonly used types of APIs were Music (3 APIs, 4 mashups), Mapping (2 APIs, 2 mashups) and Travel (1 APIs, 1 mashups). The list below shows which APIs were used by which mashups:
