In the past week we have had three outstanding music mashups named Mashup of The Day. These mashups use a combined 7 APIs, including the Last.fm API. This past week 6 new mashups were added to our mashup directory and 14 different APIs were used to build them. Some of the newer or less frequently seen APIs include IMSAS and Yahoo Geo Location. The most often used APIs this week are Hoiio Voice , Last.fm and Yahoo Geo Location. Crowd.fm is an easy-to-use platform created to promote events online. It’s been described by its founder Tekin Suleyman as “an amazing platform for getting events listed with a single click.” The company provides the Crowd.fm API to provide developers integration options.

How does the Web’s largest ticket search engine improve its API? By giving developers easy access to more information, of course. SeatGeek recently made links to artists’ Spotify and Last.fm profiles available through the SeatGeek API, and the company promises even more data in the future.
