Having just released an API, Magplus is now announcing the “Unleash the Content, Build Your Dream App,” contest, Feb 8 to 22. Magplus has been actively helping companies in publishing, retail, gaming and enterprise.
vjoon K4 has just become the first publishing system to support full integration with Adobe’s New Folio Producer API, a set of APIs that are available as part of the Digital Publishing Suite (Enterprise Edition) to Adobe Technology Solution Partners.
When you want animated maps or zippier feedback than Google’s JavaScript mapping API can provide, you can use the Flash Maps API. Yes, even Google acknowledges that its popular, full-featured platform can’t do everything. Using the Flash API used to mean you needed to know Flash. Now, you can get the benefit, but still program in JavaScript.
Google Analytics is one of the most popular, and free, ways to track web site statistics. It is not uncommon for web masters to use Google Analytics to monitor several different domains, possibly using more than one Google account to do so. But while Google Analytics is a powerful tool, getting a concise overview of these separate statistics can be difficult. The folks at Trakken GmbH thought so too, and so they used the Google Analytics API to create Trakkboard.
The goal of HeyZap is to be the “YouTube of casual gaming” by giving site publishers a way to embed more than 6000 casual Flash games into their sites with a single embed code. Their business model (more detail from TechCrunch) is to collect revenue from ads within the games using the MochiAds ad platform and share some of that with developers. The publishers using the code don’t get revenue, but get increased traffic to their sites.
As we reported earlier this year, ESRI, a leading GIS software provider, released a public version of its ArcGIS JavaScript API that allows developers to integrate GIS functionality with web applications. Now ESRI has added a new ArcGIS Server Live User Sites section to its web site that showcases various geospatial solutions, several of which use the ArcGIS JavaScript API (see our ESRI API profile).
Last week, Google announced the Google Maps API for Flash, the latest extension of their extremely popular Google Maps API.
Adobe has updated Share, their service for document sharing and management, so that users can now convert uploaded documents into PDF and they also have exposed this functionality in the Share API.
