This week we had 71 new APIs added to our API directory including a content delivery network, grid computing facilitation service, online health network service, cloud hosted search service, apple product search and a web content aggregation and ranking service. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.
This week we had 41 new APIs added to our API directory including SMS and voicemail management service, a url shortener and monetizing service, live internet radio platform, and email marketing service. We also covered Sunlight Labs’ real-time politics API, which provides information on votes in the United States congress. Below is more detail on each of these 41 new APIs.
Sunlight Labs announced a new API for streaming U.S. congressional activity. The Sunlight Labs Real Time Congress API (RTC) covers a broad range of U.S. House and Senate actions and data as soon as it’s available on the web. The API can be queried and combined with other APIs including the Sunlight Labs Congress API that contains data on legislators.
This past week 27 new mashups were added to our mashup directory and 40 different APIs were used to build them. Some of the newer or less frequently seen APIs include CitySearch CityGrid , Gowalla and Infochimps . The most often used APIs this week are Flickr, Google Maps and Twitter.
