Of the many APIs we published this week, fifteen were highlighted on the blog by our team of writers. In this post, we’ll launch those fifteen into the spotlight, which included the Sendy API. Sendy is a self-hosted email application that claims to be 100 times cheaper than other services.
This week we had 66 new APIs added to our API directory including a scholar impact rating service, cross-repository search service, online gaming data service, big data application builder and internet proxy service. In addition we covered an API for easy image modification. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.

A team at Indiana University created Scholarometer to “facilitate citation analysis and help evaluate the impact of an author’s publications.” The crowdsourced data created through the Scholarometer platform is available through the Scholarometer API that allows developers to track certain authors through name, citation, disciplines, relevance, and other metrics.
