Our API directory now includes 443 enterprise APIs. The newest is the Swift-Kanban API. The most popular, in terms of mashups, is the LinkedIn API. We list 48 LinkedIn mashups. Below you’ll find some more stats from the directory, including the entire list of enterprise APIs.
After claiming in a previous post that there are no German publishers with APIs, I discovered that German news agency dpa is offering the Presseportal API for its press release service. Agencies are an integral part of the news ecosystem, and especially because the dpa is an international API provider it is a great pleasure for me to put some more light on its services.
This week we had 35 new APIs added to our API directory including a tool to geolocate by ip address, spelling correction service, cost per click advertising network, bulk sms messaging service, opensocial service and web page text summarization tool. Below is more detail on each of these new APIs.
