PostmasterPostmaster, a technology company that specializes in small package logistics optimization, has just announced the addition of a new Box and Bin Packing feature to the Postmaster API. Earlier this year, Postmaster launched a beta version of the Postmaster API which helps businesses integrate and optimize the shipping process when using carriers Fedex, UPS, and USPS.

Way To Go, Ernest Marples! UK to Free Postal Code Database

marples2According to a BBC report, UK’s Royal Mail will make its postal code database available to the public in April of next year. This follows a rogue API that provided the data, but was mum about where it came from. That site, was named after a former postmaster general.
