79 File Sharing APIs: 4Shared, DokDok and Hive

Our API directory now includes 79 file sharing APIs. The newest is the Seafile API. The most popular, in terms of mashups, is the 4Shared API. We list one 4Shared mashup. Below you’ll find some more stats from the directory, including the entire list of file sharing APIs.

The Pogoplug API: Your Files, Anywhere.

PogoplugMoving files around doesn’t seem like it should be as difficult as it sometimes is. I often feel trapped when I realize that the songs I added to my computer didn’t find their way to my phone, or the pictures I took at the beach still have not made it to my computer. For a long time I had accepted that this is how the world works and that I will have to live with it, but no longer must that be the case with all the storage APIs available. The Pogoplug API is the newest entrant to that group.


91 New APIs: Amazon, Bing Maps, Getty Images and SendGrid

This week we had 91 new APIs added to our API directory including a business process service, geocoding service, licensed photography platform, student verification service, and a newsletter management service. We also covered an API to hack the Gibson and a service that turns your email inbox into an application platform. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.
