This week, we had 44 new APIs added to our API directory including a company that builds app-enabled products, a hacker event listing service, and a digital magazine publishing platform. We also covered 2014’s Developer Week, which took place last week.
One of the challenges with testing applications in the cloud is that it’s difficult to replicate the production environment where those applications will ultimately run. No matter how big the cloud is, the data center where those applications are tested usually bears little resemblance to the data center where the applications will actually end up running.

The newly released Riot Games API will give developers just that and with the tag of the most played video game in the world with 32 million plays every month, the possibilities are going to be interesting.
