Elsten software, digital music organizer, has announced OneMusicAPI. Proclaimed to be “OneMusicAPI to rule them all,” the API acts as a music metadata aggregator that pulls from multiple sources across the web through a single interface. Elsten founder and OneMusicAPI creator, Dan Gravell, found keeping pace with constant changes from individual sources became too tedious a process to adequately organize music.
This week we’re spotlighting the YouTube API, one of our most consistently popular APIs. YouTube is the third most used API in our directory appearing in over 650 mashups. Each of the mashups below leverage YouTube and have been named mashup of the day since October.

Some of the newer or less frequently seen APIs include Earth911 Search, HP Cloud Object Storage, HP Imaging Cloud Photo Suite, LaunchBit, Mailgun, Ookaboo and Recognize.im. The most often used APIs this week are Facebook, Facebook Graph and Google Maps.
