Having just released an API, Magplus is now announcing the “Unleash the Content, Build Your Dream App,” contest, Feb 8 to 22. Magplus has been actively helping companies in publishing, retail, gaming and enterprise.
Of the many APIs we published last week, eleven were highlighted on the blog by our team of writers. In this post, we’ll shine a spotlight on those eleven, which included the in2era API. in2era is a web service for selling ebooks through online distributor. The in2era API allows developers to manage subscriptions to educational content, logo branding functionality, and the ability to handle transactions in the desired language and currency of choice. Online distributors take a small fee. To learn more about the in2era API visit the in2era site as well as the in2era API blog post.
MagPlus is a publishing and content creation tool created by creatives, for creatives. The idea is to provide users with all they need to create tablet and smartphone apps without the need for any programming skills. This allows users to focus on their creative design without worrying too much about the heavy technical stuff. MagPlus’ API makes this functionality available to developers who may want to integrate it with other applications.
This week we had 58 new APIs added to our API directory including a contour mapping service, text marketing service, mobile and tablet publishing and content service, telecom information applications and airport flight connection instruction service. In addition we covered an API to embed maps in your applications. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.
Apigee publishes 2013 API Trends report. AfterShip provides single API allows you to track shipments across 30+ shipping companies. Plus: Campbell’s releases API for “Hack the Kitchen”, ObjectRocket launches Premium MongoDB Cloud Service and 11 new APIs.
