49 New APIs: New Google APIs, Google Reader Replacement and Movement Tracking

This week we had 49 new APIs added to our API directory including a movement activity tracking application, online calendar service, cloud-based MySQL database, RSS reader service and image recognition service. We also covered an API to help keep crowdfunding safe and how to increase engagement with the Newsweaver API. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.

API Spotlight: Fusebill, Cameratag, and Tito APIs

Of the many APIs we published this week, twelve were highlighted on the blog by our team of writers. In this post, we’ll shine a spotlight on those twelve, which included Google’s many newly released APIs. Included in Googles recent releases are the Content Experiments, Cloud SQL API, CalDAV, and the CardDAV APIs. To give a background on each, the CalDAV API allows developers to manage their calendar, the CardDAV to manage contacts, the Content Experiments allowing for Google Analytics to be used for A/B testing, and finally the Cloud SQL API to perform certain tasks for MySQL database. The Fusebill API: Lighting Up Subscription Growth

Fusebill Fusebill, a specialist in providing tools for businesses that bill by subscription, now makes its services available through the Fusebill API. According to a review of Fusebill on the Business2Community website, the idea is to take the pain out of billing for large subscription based businesses–so the business can concentrate on the essentials of delivering their content or service, and marketing it.
