40 New APIs: Data.gov, SportTracks, and Instantor

18 APIs Used in 7 Days: MapQuest, eBay and Yahoo Query Language

This past week 8 new mashups were added to our mashup directory and 18 different APIs were used to build them. Some of the newer or less frequently seen APIs include 500px, FilePicker, Images, Imgur and World Weather Online Time Zone. The most often used APIs this week are Google Maps, Twitter and Yahoo Query Language. And the most commonly used types of APIs were Photos (5 APIs, 5 mashups), Search (3 APIs, 4 mashups) and Social (2 APIs, 3 mashups). The list below shows which APIs were used by which mashups:
