ProgrammableWebProgrammableWeb enjoyed another tremendous year in 2013. The year in APIs was filled with landmarks, innovation and massive expansion of the API economy. ProgrammbleWeb readers kept us busy, and four particular areas of interest prompted the most attention.

Bit-PayOur API directory now includes 101 currency APIs. The newest is the Taurusbit API. The most popular, in terms of mashups, is the Bit-Pay API. We list 1 Bit-Pay mashup .


12 APIs Used in 7 Days: BitStamp, CloudMade and Mt Gox

This past week 6 new mashups were added to our mashup directory and 12 different APIs were used to build them. Some of the newer or less frequently seen APIs include BitStamp and Realtime Register. The most often used APIs this week are BTC-eCampBX and Mt Gox. And the most commonly used types of APIs were Financial (4 APIs, 4 mashups), Mapping (3 APIs, 3 mashups) and Music (2 APIs, 2 mashups).


46 Bitcoin APIs: Bitstamp, Bitcoin Charts Markets and 50BTC
