43 New APIs: StubHub, AppURL and Miniflux

This week we had 43 new APIs added to our API directory including a service to connect applications to HTTP URLs, online marketplace for event tickets, RSS feed reading service, application monetization platform and human body 3D imaging service. We also covered an API to help with the recruiting process as well as a bug reporting service. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.

The app55 API is a UK-based payment service provider that offers developers a simple, secure payment method. App55The app55 API lets online and bricks and mortar merchants in the UK take payments from customers on any device, on websites designed and controlled by the retailer. app55 joins 362 payment APIs in our directory. In addition to offering one click, being fully brandable (meaning the customer sees your site only, and is not aware of app55’s role), all of the stiff PCI compliance issues that make handling these transactions so complex is outsourced through them.

Today in APIs: LinkedIn Announces Advertising API, App Annie Launches Game Analytics API, and 8 New APIs

On its quarterly earnings call, LinkedIn CEO (Jeff Weiner) announced the company will soon offer an advertising API so companies can seamlessly buy media spots on the social platform. App Annie’s new API allows developers to pull game sales information. Plus: Hoosuite raises $165 million, Kofax acquires Kapow, and 8 new APIs.
