API Strategy and Practice Conference Heads to Europe

Eric Carter, December 19th, 2013

The API Strategy & Practice Conference has announced the first European edition to take place March 26-28, 2014. The 2013 events in New York and San Francisco were packed to the gills, and considered wildly successful as companies across many industries tuned in to take part in the increasingly popular API conversation and learn more about the burgeoning API economy. Thus, a 2014 expansion was the next logical step. Accordingly, 3Scale and API Evangelist are excited to take the conference to Amsterdam next spring.

Although the conference is less than one year old, it is held in high regard as a premier event across the field of API enthusiasts. The first European rendition will take place at Amsterdam’s Beurs Van Berlage. The conference can already boast of a premier list of presenters penciled in for speaking spots. Representatives from Raspberry Pi, Forum Virium Helsinki, Rackspace, Runscope, API Evangelist, and Layer 7 are scheduled to speak. Additionally, organizers continue to take calls for speakers.

A wide variety of conference themes and education tracks will make up the three day event. A short list of topics include: music, social, media, government, payments/e-commerce APIs, and API security, scalability, business models, marketing and methodology.
