Filmon.tv has announced a set of APIs that allow online publishers and developers to take advantage of its huge selection of content from NBC, CBS, FOX and ABC in twelve major US cities, and more.

it gets better: when a developer builds a site, it can also be used as a mobile app. Angel Leon, of FrostWire, a customer of Filmon, believes the company has the right mix of disruption to become the equivalent of a global cable TV provider (without the cable…). Filmon has also accentauted the poser of viral marketing by focusing on social TV, integrating Cavecast and BattleCam social webcam apps and services. Content is licensed from providers in the US, Europe, and around the world.
