In July, ProgrammableWeb published an article about the growing trend of integration platform as a service (iPaaS). The article explained the concept of iPaaS, the technological trends driving the need for iPaaS solutions, and featured several examples of iPaaS providers.
Cloud Elements is another good example of an iPaaS provider. However, Cloud Elements is slightly different from other iPaaS providers in that the platform caters specifically to developers; some coding knowledge is required to use the service. The iPaaS platrforms featured in the iPaaS article do not require programming or technical skills to use the service. Cloud Elements does offer “no coding required” plug-ins for Java and Ruby however.
According to the press release, the Cloud Elements Messaging Hub will be available without charge for the remainder of 2013. Cloud Elements CEO Mark Geene states for the press release that:
“Twilio is the top innovator in SMS and voice messaging services and SendGrid leads the email services market. Cloud Elements mission is to make it easier for developers to integrate, monitor and maintain the cloud services their applications depend on. Cloud Elements brings these two messaging leaders together with a uniform API and consolidated monitoring, logging and analytics. Developers can use both of their services in a fraction of the time with a fraction of the code.”
Developers interested in using the new Cloud Elements Messaging Hub, can find detailed information on the Cloud Elements website.
