This week we had 45 new APIs added to our API directory including a phone call and text message application, security device communication and management service, virtual currency rxchange service, bitcoin exchange service and data and metric analysis service. We also covered an API that adds fleet management to apps and workflows. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.
Agrolink API: Agrolink is a Brazilian agricultural information website. It hosts a SOAP API that allows users to retrieve site contents programmatically. This includes crop-specific information, agricultural news, farming-related statistics, and information on the use of AGROSOL, a type of CO2-containing fertilizer. Website contents are provided solely in Portuguese.
AlphaPoint API: AlphaPoint is a New York based digital currency exchange that offers its users a trading platform with cold storage, and the capacity to implement high-frequency trading strategies among other features. The AlphaPoint API allows users to create an account, get user IDs from a cell phone number, verify a phone number, log in, log out, create and cancel orders, get instruments, get public trade logs, and several other calls. The service uses REST calls and returns JSON. An account with service is required and SSL and API tokens are used for authentication.
Arizona National Livestock Show API: The Arizona National Livestock Show (ANLS) website provides information about the show and its events to the general public. The ANLS seeks to preserve western heritage while promoting livestock and agricultural practices. Users can retrieve information on ANLS events, history, and sponsors programmatically via SOAP API.
Bter API: Bter is a Bitcoin Exchange platform where users can buy, sell, and trade bitcoins and other crypto-currencies. The Bter API can returns the ticker for a selected currency, the market depth including ask and bid orders, and recent trade history. The service uses REST calls and utilizes SSL and two-factor authentication for security.
Bypass API: Bypass is a commerce service and solution for sports and event venues. Bypass offers commerce solutions for concessionaries and merchants that work in sports and event venues.

Carpoolworld API: Carpoolworld is a service for helping people find rideshares anywhere in the world. The site allows people to create trips, search for trips by origin or destination, and contact potential travel partners. Carpoolworld makes all of its functions available to developers using a REST API with responses returned in XML format.
Chicago Police Department CLEARpath API: The CLEARpath website is provided by the Chicago Police Department to help community members learn more about their districts and local events as well as how to protect themselves against crime. It also allows people to report crimes anonymously, get reports, and chat with the department. The CLEARpath REST API provides programmatic access to the website's functions and information in JSON format.
Crosspollinate Content Marketing API: Crosspollinate builds technologies and products designed to support people in an interconnected and interdependent world. The Crosspollinate Content Marketing API provides the ability for clients to programmatically access trending content from multiple web sources on any keyword/subject. The API supports multiple keyword combinations and delivers content in RSS/ATOM format.
Deliv API: Deliv is a delivery service. Deliv offers customers an application to order goods to be delivered within 60 minutes or at a chosen time.

Directional Star TimeZone Converter API: Australian IT consulting firm Directional Star provides developers with a tool to automate conversion between time zones. The Directional Star TimeZone Converter API provides a RESTful interface and returns JSON formatted responses. The API allows unlimited usage and requires no authentication or login.
DoneCard API: A DoneCard is a type of cash card that can be used for online, mobile, and in-person transactions. The card does not require a bank account and can only be used to spend as much money as is placed on it by the cardholder. The DoneCard API allows users to manage card transactions and orders, get card details, and to verify their cards and transactions.
EcoSCADA API: EcoSCADA is a web-based energy savings service that is used to monitor energy consumption and identify wasteful energy use. EcoSCADA is useful for establishing benchmarks for energy usage across multiple buildings and monitoring their performance against those benchmarks. The service records data on gas, electricity, and water consumption as well as other relevant factors. This data is stored in EcoSCADA's online database where it can be accessed by users directly or via API.
Encompass Parts Distribution API: Encompass Parts Distribution sells replacement parts for consumer electronics, appliances, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), computers, and more. They have more than 60 years of experience and are an authorized parts distributor for many popular brands, including Sony, Hitachi, Toshiba, Panasonic, and Samsung.
Encompass Parts Distribution provides its users with a SOAP API that allows them to retrieve supported manufacturers, models, and part numbers and information. The API also lets users create orders, check an order's status, cancel items on an open order, get invoice information, and request to return items on a given invoice.
HaveLockInvestments API: HaveLockInvestments is a Bitcoin exchange and investment service. The site offers a serious of Bitcoin related investments such as mining equipment, and assorted exchanges. The HaveLockInvestments API allows users read-only access to account data, ticker information, balances, and portfolio details. An account is required with service, and API information is available at log in.
Honeywell AlarmNet Direct API: Honeywell is a security company that provides security services and devices for homes and businesses. AlarmNet Direct is a web-based service designed to let users communicate with Honeywell's security devices remotely. It allows customers to register, program, command, and check the status of devices over the internet. These functions can also be accessed programmatically using the AlarmNet Direct SOAP API.
Idescat Embed API: The Statistical Institute of Catalonia (Idescat) is an organization that produces official Catalan economy, demography, and society statistics. Idescat exposes some of its data via a collection of REST APIs.
Some content from Idescat.cat may be embedded in third party websites. The Idescat Embed API shows whether embeddable content exists on a specified page and how to obtain its embeddable code. This API follows the oEmbed standard for requests and responses. Responses may be XML or JSON formatted.

In support of UNESCO’s International Days—designated dates to mark important aspects of human life and history—and in recognition of 2013 as the International Year of Statistics, Idescat has created the International Days API. The International Days API provides simple HTTP calls returning data on the next upcoming International Day. Responses may be JSON or serialized PHP format.

Indiana University Knowledge Base API: The Indiana University Knowledge Base is a database of reference information covering IT-related topics. It is designed and maintained by the UITS support center to provide answers to computer-related questions that arise among students and staff. The Knowledge Base contains more than 17,000 content files, about half of which are currently active. These can be accessed and searched directly through the website or programmatically via SOAP API.
Litecoin Global API: Litecoin Global is an online exchange that allows users to buy or issue stocks in virtual currency companies. The site operates entirely on Litecoin which users must purchase from exchanges or mine themselves. The LitecoinGlobal API allows users to query for lists of all assets and market data, ticker data for a specific asset, order book data, contract data, all trades on the site, trade history, dividends, as well as full account and portfolio information. The services uses REST calls and can return JSON or CSV.
Litecoin Scout API: LitecoinScout provides detailed information about litecoin mining and trading. The Litecoinscout API allows users to show the public key hash encoded in an address, checks an address for validity, show the version prefix and hash encoded in an address, show the current block number, show the 160-bit hash of the given public key, show the address with the given version prefix and hash, show statistics about difficulty and network power, show the amount of currency ever mined, and show the address in a given chain with a given address's hash.
Litehosting API: LiteHosting is a VPS host that is designed to accomodate crypto currencies. The site accepts Bitcoin, Namecoin, and Litecoin as payment. Litehosting's Litecoin API allows users to get Litecoin info array, get transaction IDs, get transaction information, get block information, and get Litecoin addresses. The API uses REST calls and returns JSON. HTTP basic authentication over SSL is used to ensure a secure connection.
Litepay API: LitePay-App is a web payment service that handles payment for merchants utilizing litecoins. The service takes orders, issues a litecoin pay address to the customer to use, and confirms payment to the merchant. The Litepay-App API allows users to request a litecoin address and confirm a payment. The service uses REST calls, returns JSON, and uses Access Tokens for authentication.
LTC-Data API: LTC-Data provides basic litecoin mining data to developers. The LTC API allows users to incorporate the litecoin information into applications using REST calls and returning JSON. The API can make calls to get the current network hashrate, seconds-per-block, current block, block difficulty, next block difficulty, and addresses to hash at. No account is required for use, and use is free.
Macarthur Square API: Macarthur Square is a major retail destination in south-west Sydney. Visitors can shop for clothing, housewares, sporting goods, and groceries. The shopping center also offers restaurants and entertainment facilities.
The Macarthur Square SOAP API allows developers to interact with the website programmatically. It can be used to retrieve, submit, and delete feedback; get information on stores and events; check gift card balances; and subscribe to the shopping center's newsletter.
Mathletics Hall of Fame API: Mathletics.com provides online math games for educational purposes. It is used by schools for students ages 5 through 18. The Mathletics Hall of Fame is a scoreboard showcasing the top-scoring students and classrooms in the U.S. and around the world. Hall of Fame scores and information are accessible programmatically via SOAP API.
Mocky API: Mocky is a service that allows developers to mock their HTTP responses in order to test the functionality of a REST API. Mocky is available as a web console, downloadable software, or REST API. The API version of the service accepts calls issued in JSON and JSONP. The Mocky website is available in English, French, and Portuguese.
Ondore API: Ondore is a service for data and metric analysis and insight. Ondore combines various sources of data for actionable insight, based on natural language processing.

The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) provides access to a searchable online database of U.S. ports and terminals that hold valid MARPOL COAs. The database's contents are accessible directly through the Coast Guard's website or programmatically via SOAP API.
USCG Port State Information Exchange API: The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Port State Information Exchange (PSIX) is an information system containing vessel-specific information on U.S. flag vessels, foreign flag vessels operating in U.S. waters, and contacts with those vessels. This information is derived from the Marine Information Safety and Law Enforcement System (MISLE). PSIX information can be accessed directly through the USCG website or programmatically via SOAP API.
YIFY-Torrents API: YIFIY-Torrents is a movie piracy community known for re-encoding movies in high quality HD with small file sizes.
