Amazon S3 API Requests prices slashed by half

Ajay Ohri, April 3rd, 2013

Just heard this great , heart warming news from the big guys on the cloud storage, Amazon .  It has reduced Amazon S3 request prices in all nine regions.

Amazon has reduced the prices for GET requests by 60% and the prices for PUT, LIST, COPY, and POST requests by 50%.For example, in the US Standard Region, the price of every 1,000 PUT requests reduces from $0.01 to $0.005 and the price of every 10,000 GET requests is reduced from $0.01 to $0.004.

New prices are effective April 1st.

Now, we only hope this is not an April Fool’s Joke. I rather think this news puts all Google’s stuff on April 1 on the shade.

Twice as more requests at same price. Just another (Amazon S3) API call away!
