The 2013 Apigee API Summits Tour is a series of executive-level events that will be hosted by Apigee and will take place in New York City (April 16), Chicago (April 18), Atlanta (May 14), Dallas (May 16), San Francisco (May 21), and Sydney, Australia (Aug 22).

The goal of the summits is to bring together business leaders from various industries and technology innovators to discuss APIs and the app economy. At the summits, there will be interactive sessions and open discussions about API program best practices, peer success stories and API trends and directions. The summits will also cover leveraging APIs and apps for mobile strategies and revenue opportunities, as well as an overview of the “new app-based digital economy.”

In the press release, Chet Kapoor CEO of Apigee says about the Summits:

“We’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most forward-thinking companies in the world — businesses that are creating competitive advantage by redefining how they connect with customers, partners and employees through APIs and apps. With the API Summits, we’ll be able to bring and share successful API strategies and best practices directly to innovators across the world in truly unique events.”

The 2013 Apigee API Summits are invitation-only with limited attendance. To request an invitation to one of the summits, complete the online registration form on the Apigee site. There is no charge for registration.
