Candice McMillan, February 26th, 2013

MomondoAnyone can be their own travel agent with access to all the information they need online. But when trying to plan the perfect trip, internet users may feel bombarded by the vast amount of information available and may not even know where to start. Momondo.com is just the kind of tool that would be relevant in this situation. It’s a travel site that provides users with the best prices for flights, hotels and car rentals. Momondo also provides an the Momondo API that allows developers to integrate this functionality with other relevant applications.

Momondo.com prides itself on being a free service, as it is not a travel agent and does not charge booking fees. The site simply searches hundreds of sites across the web, providing the user with an overview of fares and options within seconds. Whether it’s for flights, hotels, rental cars, handy travel guides or relevant and local information on things to do and places to go, Momondo has it covered.

The Momondo’s SOAP-based API makes it possible for developers to access the site’s services programmatically. More information on the API is available on Momondo’s website.
