The “Don’t Be a SOA-saurus: Enable Your Business with API Management” webinar covers how enterprise IT departments and businesses are frequently using APIs to promote their brand and are moving away from traditional SOA governance.

According to the press release, Eve Maler, Principal Analyst, Forrester Research, Inc. and Chris Lippi, VP, Products and Services, Mashery are the presenters of the webinar and will be discussing two main topics:

• Key disciplines that can allow IT operations to securely enable APIs as Products.
• How to apply ubiquitous Web API thinking to all the Web services your IT oversees.

Mashery has written about “SOA governance extinction” in their company blog and how enterprises can survive in the current API and app economies:
