Parse has created the Mandrill Cloud Module, which allows developers of Parse powered applications to add transactional messaging functions such as welcome messages, password resets and order confirmations. To start using the Mandrill Cloud Module, developers must first create an account at the Mandrill website.
About the partnership with MailChimp, Ilya Sukhar, CEO at Parse is quoted in the press release as saying:
“As a big fan of MailChimp, we’re really proud to bring the functionality of the Mandrill API to Parse-powered applications. We get a ton of inbound requests for this integration, so we’re happy to further simplify this piece of the mobile puzzle for both Parse and MailChimp customers.”
