Boston to discuss Big Data this September

Romin Irani, July 18th, 2012

It should come as no surprise to anyone that “Big Data” is being reckoned as the next big opportunity in Technology. With the explosion in the number of mobile devices and social networks, the data being generated on a daily basis is mind-boggling and companies are tapping into this data to both understand consumer behaviour and gauge patterns for future products. If you are in Boston this September, the Big Data Innovation conference organization by The IE Group, brings everything under one roof for 2 power packed days that discuss Big Data.

The conference is scheduled to be held on September 13-14 at the Hyatt Regency Boston. Registration for the conference is currently open with the Gold Pass giving you full access to the summit along with IEG Membership that has benefits like 400+ hours of industry on-demand presentations.

The Big Data Conference format combined keynote presentations, breakout sessions and an open discussion. The topics are clearly focussed around Big Data storage, management, analytics and security. Sponsors include Vertica, Hortonworks, Lucid Imagination and others. Confirmed Speakers includes all firms that are dealing with large amounts of data on a daily basis like Nasa, LinkedIn, Facebook, Walt Disney and Expedia.

For more information on the event, take a look at the Agenda and download the brochure.
