Join ProgrammableWeb and some really great API companies at the second annual API Hackday during OSCon, O’Reilly’s Open Source conference in Portland, Oregon. The API hackathon will take place during the week this year as coders hack their way to cool prizes in the day-long hackathon.
The event will take place on Tuesday, July 17, at the offices of Urban Airship, 334 NW 11th St. in Portland. The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and kicks off with API workshops. Developers then form teams and hack away on their projects. Presentations begin at 6:30 p.m. and the judges will select the winners by end of the day.
There’s an iPad and a Nexus 7 on the line, plus other prizes. To get an idea for the event, check out last year’s winners.
Then, if you’ll be in Portland, be sure to register to attend (it’s free).
