Our API directory now includes 46 research APIs. The newest is the Globus Online Transfer API. The most popular, in terms of mashups, is the Mendeley API. We list 3 Mendeley mashups. Below you’ll find some more stats from the directory, including the entire list of research APIs.

In terms of the technical details, REST and XML lead the way. There are 37 research REST APIs and 8 research SOAP APIs. Our directory lists 34 research XML APIs and 16 research JSON APIs.

The most common tags within research are 20 science research APIs, 14 reference research APIs and 10 medical research APIs.

On the mashup side, we list 5 research mashups. We named MyShopSEO as mashup of the day in October.
