307 Mobile APIs: Foursquare, Instagram and iTunes

Our API directory now includes 307 mobile APIs. The newest is the Mobilepax API. The most popular, in terms of mashups, is the foursquare API. We list 81 foursquare mashups. Below you’ll find some more stats from the directory, including the entire list of mobile APIs.

In terms of the technical details, REST and XML lead the way. There are 201 mobile REST APIs and 36 mobile SOAP APIs. Our directory lists 165 mobile XML APIs and 127 mobile JSON APIs.

The most common tags within mobile are 124 telephony mobile APIs, 69 SMS mobile APIs and 59 messaging mobile APIs

On the mashup side, we list 464 mobile mashups. We named QuickResu.me as mashup of the day in February.
