Google to Host Developer Day at SXSW

Adam DuVander, March 9th, 2011

Google Code SearchIf you’re a geek headed to Austin, here’s another reason to get excited. If you won’t be making the trip to SXSW, there’s another reason to check back with ProgrammableWeb. On Sunday Google is hosting a developer event highlighting its many APIs and co-hosting a “SuperHappyDevHouse” that “combines serious and not-so-serious productivity with a fun and exciting party atmosphere.” We’ll be covering both events.

The developer event will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and you can find the full schedule to see what will be covered when.

Other sponsors of SuperHappyDevHouse include the NPR API and Twilio API. And, of course, Google has a few APIs of its own. We list 84 Google APIs. Google’s Pamela Fox helped us make sense of them all in Google APIs: A to Z.

So proud to be supporting this event, it is going to be a ton of fun. We’re also hosting a geek-themed party called GET.down at Pure Volume that night (going til 4am!)
