This week we had a range of new APIs added to our API directory including the 5 outlined here. They include an API that gives you access to a comprehensive food and nutrition database, an API for registering domains cheaply, an online document signing API, one for managing subscription-based payment services, to one API for managing APIs like these. Here’s more detail on each of these new entries:
NameCheap API: NameCheap offers a domain name registration service for developers. The NameCheap API is “an arena for developers who wish to build web or desktop apps that integrate with their NameCheap account. It allows users to access account data from NameCheap.com and offers features like domain check, registrations and renewals from within applications.”
RightSignature API: RightSignature provdes a service for online document signing. The RightSignature API gives users the same service to use in their projects and websites. Documentation and example code is provided, along with example uses of the API.
Spreedly API: Spreedly gives web applications “an easy way to handle subscription-based services. The service works through many well-known payment gateways, including PayPal and SagePay, to complete fast, secure transactions. The Spreedly API offers the tools to integrate its payment service into websites or apps.”
3scale Networks API: 3scale Networks offers an on-demand infrastructure platform that lets online businesses manage their open APIs. These services include access control, monitoring, billing and payments. The 3scale API offers the tools to integrate 3scale for compatibility.
