New APIs: Meebo, Convio and TinyLink

John Musser, November 5th, 2007   Comments(0)

We continue to see about one new API added per day to our ProgrammableWeb listings and so there’s no shortage of new web services for developers to choose from. Here are three of the latest:

  • Meebo Platform: The innovative Meebo service that lets you access nearly any instant messaging platform (AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ and Jabber) from nearly anywhere, now offers their service as a ‘platform’ via JavaScript and Flash-based APIs.
  • Convio API: This provider of online Constituent Relationship Management solutions for more than 1,200 nonprofits recently introduced a “Constituent Management API”. This REST-based API lets developers connect directly with their Convio Constituent360 service.
  • TinyLink API: Use this straightforward API to get your URLs shortened.
