It’s been a couple of weeks since our last best of roundup Charity, Digg and Running, so we have some catching-up to do. Looking at innovative use of the APIs lately gives us a couple of unique applications using four APIs the twitter API, the YouTube API, the Poly9 FreeEarth API and the Last.fm API:

  • Twittervision 3D: A real-time geographic visualization of posts to Twitter onto a rotating globe.
  • LastTube, Last.fm Meets YouTube: Uses content from Last.fm and YouTube in a unified interface. You can watch Youtube content based on your Recently Listened Tracks scrobbled to Last.fm.
