Yesterday we looked at interesting new mashups not using maps and so today we’ll look at a few new ones that do use maps, but are not repeats of the other 969 maps mashups in our listings:

• EPA Superfund Site Locator: How close do you live to a Superfund toxic waste site? Integrates EPA Superfund XML data to allow you to quickly find the nearest Superfund Sites by address or a location of interest. Check Wikipedia’s entry for a good background on the Superfund story.



• LookLOCAL: A unique online mapping and local search service. View over 6,000 traffic cams, view travel related KML files and import your own, search or get directions, and compare Google Maps, Yahoo Local Maps, and Live Search Maps.



• Top 25 Crimes of the Century: The top 25 crimes as reported by Time magazine are plotted on a map with detailed information and photos for each.
