See the ETel Mashup Contest Winners

ETelWhat happens when you offer cash prizes to developers in order to create telephony-based mashups? We found out last week at the O’Reilly ETel Emerging Telephony Conference where they and StrikeIron announced the winners in the O’Reilly Media and StrikeIron Telephony Mashup Contest (see our previous coverage). And as it turns-out, there were some very good entries. Who won? You can now see the top three in our directory:

  • Third Place: FishLign: Demo social app using StrikeIron Driving Directions and LignUp Recording, TTS and Personalization to perform Click2Call and allowing community members to receive voice messages without disclosing their actual phone numbers and advertisers can offer voice callbacks to site visitors. By Claire Umeda and Dharmesh Desai of LignUp.
