The fall conference season is just around the corner and there’s a variety of events of interest to mashup and Web 2.0 developers:
- Ryan Carson has put together The Future of Web Apps, Sep 13-14, 2006, in San Francisco. Good looking event with speakers include Kevin Rose (Digg), Matt Mullenweg (WordPress), Cal Henderson (Flickr), Dick Hardt (Sxip), Mike Arrington (TechCrunch), and many others.
- AJAXWorld, October 2-4, 2006 in Santa Clara. Dion Hinchcliffe has organized an AJAX who’s-who for this event including Jesse James Garrett (Adaptive Path), Patrick Grady (Rearden Commerce), Scott Isaacs (Microsoft), and Adam Sah and Paul Rademacher (Google).
- At the 20th ACM Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work, there is a workshop on Web Mash-ups and CSCW: Opportunities and Issues, November 4, 2006 in Banff, Alberta. Nice location for a very interesting mashup-focused agenda including tutorials and a mini mashup camp. For full details see the Workshop Proposal from organizers M. Cameron Jones & Michael B. Twidale.
