As reported by Gary Price at Search Engine Watch, Google has just release their Google Homepage API. More on the Google Blog. And it was just this week that Yahoo! renamed Konfabulator to Yahoo Widgets. And there’s a growing number of Microsoft Gadgets as well.
Google posted an initial set of homepage modules available in their directory, including Color Junction (shown here).
